This month, I’d like to share about a ministry, Adult and Teen Challenge USA, which deals with substance abuse. This outreach was started by the late David Wilkerson, a small town pastor who moved to New York City to make a difference…

Adult and Teen Challenge USA

CHRIST-CENTERED, FAITH-BASED SOLUTIONS FOR YOUTH, ADULTS, AND FAMILIES STRUGGLING WITH LIFE-CONTROLLING PROBLEMS, SUCH AS ADDICTION.

Adult and Teen Challenge USA works on a holistic model of drug and alcohol recovery. This means that they are concerned with the body, mind, and spirit of those who come to their addiction recovery centers. They endeavor to help people become mentally sound, emotionally balanced, socially adjusted, physically well, and spiritually alive.

There are over 200 Adult & Teen Challenge USA residential programs throughout the United States. These Christian recovery centers offer a variety of programs that include drug addiction help, alcohol recovery, and services for youth, adults and families.

While they take monetary donations to help people who are struggling, they really appreciate a gift of your time through volunteering. Found out more here...
