Hello, Friday Fiction Friends!
Today, I want to talk about books. Well, duh. We always discuss books on Friday. I understand.
But these are books I haven’t read.
Winter is drawing close and I have 10 books that I want to read before spring arrives. My list is very eclectic because–well–I am.
I jump all over the place in my reading, though I try to digest a lot of MG, YA, and speculative.
So, in no particular order:
- The Secret Keepers of Old Depot Grocery by Amanda Cox.
- Wandering Soul–Luke’s Story by Fay Lamb
- Armor of Aletheia by Ralene Burke.
- The Compound by Gwenna McAllis.
- A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith.
- The Escape Game by Marilyn Turk.
- Eat the Cookies…Buy the Shoes by Joyce Meyer
- The Hot Marble by Rosemary B. Althoff
- Blue Ridge Mountain Escape by Loretta Eidson
- The Tethered World by Heather L.L. Fitzgerald
I’ve also purchased a book journal from my friend and colleague, A.S. Hardin, that I will start in November when the reading begins. If you’d like one too, follow this link: My Reading Journal.
Now I want to know: What books are on your To-Be-Read pile? Do you set goals for how many books you want to read?
