Hello, Friday Fiction Friends! March has arrived and I’m more than ready for an early spring. How about you? In Alabama, March can bring freezing weather, snow, tornadoes, or 70+ degree weather. And this can all happen in a twenty-four-hour period…

But books never change. Here are my top five must-read books this spring:

  1. Night Falls on Predicament Avenue by Jaime Jo Wright. I’ve just purchased this dual-time murder mystery and can’t wait to devour another Jaime Jo novel. Mystery, suspense, and a touch of creepy.
  2. The Lost Ones: The Moonwind Mysteries by Johan Rundberg. This third book in the series Middle-Grade masterpiece was filled with mystery, creepy, and a satisfying wrap-up to the series. At least, I think it’s wrapped up. Hmm …
  3. Armor of Aletheia by Ralene Burke. Another new book, this fantasy is full of royalty, scary creatures, and an evil warlock. What could be better?
  4. The Tethered World by Heather L.L. FitzGerald. Children rescuing their parents while running into Bigfoot, dwarves, and other creatures is right up my alley.
  5. Sides by Bradley Caffee. A modern-day version of Lord of the Flies meets Jurassic Park. Plenty of action to keep you turning the pages.

I’ve read The Lost Ones and have the other four to go. Will I make it before spring is over? Stay tuned for my June post on summer reads to find out. As for now, happy reading!

What is on your reading list for this spring? Are any of these awesome books? Please let me know in the comments …
