C.S. Lewis is one of my favorite writers. From his memoir to non-fiction to space trilogy to fantasy, he’s covered a lot of ground as an author. My favorite would have to be the fantasy collection, “Chronicles of Narnia.” The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe is the most popular but my favorite is The Horse and His Boy. I just seem to relate to Shasta and I love the way Aslan enters the story. If you haven’t read it yet or it’s been a long time, you need to get your copy…

I read all the Narnia books except the last one as a kid. “The Horse and His Boy” were easily my favorite.
Such great books! Even though “The Last Battle” is sad, I really liked the end in it…
My favorite of the Chronicles of Narnia is ‘The Silver Chair.’ Puddleglum both makes me laugh and inspires me. I like Prince Rilian, once he’s disenchanted. And I love the allegorical messages in that book. (My sisters roll their eyes when they catch me watching the old BBC television adaptation.)
‘The Horse and His Boy’ is great, too. I think Corin is hilarious.
