I have long been a Nancy Mehl fan, and this new book, Mind Games--first in the Kaely Quinn, Profiler, Series—did not disappoint. Kaely is quirky, unusual, and a new Christian. I love that she’s okay with who she is and how she processes things even though others see her as something of an anomaly.
While this book is classified as Romantic Suspense, I would say it’s pretty low on the romance but topnotch on the suspense. I’m awful at figuring out the bad guy, and I definitely didn’t get the right answer with this book. No spoilers here, so that’s all I’ll say about that.
The end was satisfying and, as far as I know (cuz I don’t always remember everything I read), all of the loose ends were tied up nicely. I can’t wait to read the next one.
