I’d also like to share some great recipes that include dairy. Below is my hubby’s favorite, squash casserole.
Fresh Squash Casserole
2 cups cornbread, crumbled fine
2 cups fresh squash, sliced and cooked til tender
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 1/2 tsp. sage
1/2 teaspoons celery salt and seasoning salt
1/2 cup butter
Mix all ingredients and pour in greased 13 x 9 casserole dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. I then like to put the oven on broil and brown a little.
