MIracles.

What do you think of when you hear the word? Moses parting the Red Sea? Jesus walking on the water? Someone pronounced dead and then revived afterward?

We all have our thoughts when it comes to miracles. And I think miracles are something we can tie into hope. When we see a miracle happen, hope abounds. Overflows abundantly.

What brought miracles to mind is a specific prayer I’ve been praying over a situation (not mine personally) that needs an intervention from God. I could think of nothing else to pray but for a miracle.

But does God still do them? I felt a nudge and that tiny whisper of “Yes I do and why don’t you write down all the miracles you’ve seen in your lifetime?”

So, I’ve started a list. I’ll share a couple with you.

  1. I’ve had two of my books traditionally published. Something I never thought would happen.
  2. I’ve seen a medicine invented that is helping my family with a genetic skin disease we inherited. Again, something I prayed for and never imagined I’d see in my lifetime. And it was an accident. A medicine meant for another condition helps ours.

As I recorded these miracles, I felt strengthened and hope-filled. God intervening for us …

Have you considered recording the miracles in your life? Make a list of ways God has intervened. Share one below if you’d like.
